Established in 1978, Elmech Co. launched the Q-Scan People Counting Systems in the early nineties to meet the demand of the retail sector for a reliable, simple to install and cost effective means of counting people entering their premises. Embracing the latest semiconductor technology, we are currently manufacturing and supplying the third generation of counters, which are totally service free and offer easy integration with existing IT systems.

As from October 2007, Elmech has become part of Axiomatic Technology.  Axiomatic Technology Ltd have over 10 years experience providing People Counting equipment, and bring an opportunity to further develop the Q-Scan product range and integrate Q-Scan units with our RECAP data capture and presentation software.  Axiomatic will honour all existing quotations whilst offering improved levels of service and product development.

Whilst the retail sector has been at the forefront of utilising our people counting systems a number of other sectors including Tourism, Libraries, Entertainment and Education have over the years joined our client base not only in the UK but right across the globe including USA, Australia, South America, Asia and South Africa.
