Deliveries |
| Unless otherwise requested all goods are
despatched using Royal Mail's Special Delivery. This service guarantees next
working day delivery before noon to most mainland areas in the UK and 2 - 3
working days for more remote locations. It also includes compensation for lost
or damaged goods provided claims are received within 14 working days from the
date of despatch. |
| How to order |
Existing credit account clients can
simply forward an official purchase order by Mail or Fax and the goods will be
despatched on the same day. New clients and non-account holders can order goods
via Mail, Fax, Phone or E-mail but the order must be accompanied with a payment
for the full amount.
- For
single and speedy transactions we recommend payment by Credit card or Switch.
Goods paid for by these methods will be despatched, along with a VAT Invoice,
on the same day. You can Mail, Fax or Phone us your card details but, for
security reasons, we prefer not to receive any card details via
e-mail.
- We
also accept payments by cheque, made out to Axiomatic Technology Ltd. but the goods will only
be released following clearance of the payment. Clearance should normally take
no longer than 5 working days.
- If
you envisage purchasing goods from us on a regular basis we recommend opening a
credit account. In order to establish a new credit account you need to complete
and return our Credit application and Status inquiry forms. Both forms are
available on request and a new account is normally activated within 14 working
days from the date we receive the application.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE FOR THE UK
|

Quotations are
valid for 30 days and subject to the prices clause.

All prices
quoted by Axiomatic Technology Ltd. include packaging and delivery within the U.K. but are
exclusive of VAT and are subject to change without notice.

Unless
otherwise stated prices are for a single consignment to a single address.

Discounts
claimed will only be accepted if the purchaser has been informed in writing and
apply to one single order only.

Written orders
which are not accompanied by payment in full will only be processed if (a)
special arrangements have been agreed with
Axiomatic Technology Ltd. or (b) the client has an
on-going account with the Company and no payment is overdue. In the absence of
either of the above, Axiomatic Technology Ltd. will supply a Confirmation of Order form and will
take action on this when it is signed and returned.

Telephoned
orders, except as in (a) and (b) above, should include an official order number
and identify the person authorising the order. Elmech will then supply a
Confirmation of Order form and will take action on this when it is signed and
returned.

Axiomatic Technology Ltd.
cannot accept liability for any failure to supply, or any duplication of
supply, if the above procedures are not followed.

In the event
of the Buyer cancelling a written order, the Buyer will reimburse
Axiomatic Technology Ltd.
for any expense incurred up to the time of cancellation.

Unless
otherwise requested and agreed to by
Axiomatic Technology Ltd. means of delivery shall be via
registered Royal Mail. Special deliveries (e.g. Securicor, Red star, etc.) are
charged to the purchaser at cost.

Any quoted
dispatch dates are to be treated as estimates only and are subject to
availability of components to produce goods.

All accounts
are payable on demand but must be met within 28 days from the date of the
invoice, including any in respect of part completion of an order.

The supplier
reserves the right to suspend deliveries where payment is not received in
accordance with above or in accordance with any alternative arrangement which
shall be agreed in writing between the parties.

The supplier
also reserves the right to withdraw credit terms shown above in this clause and
substitute cash with order terms.

Axiomatic Technology Ltd.
reserves the right to charge interest at a rate of 3% per annum above the base
lending rate of the Royal Bank of Scotland PLC. at weekly intervals on all
overdue accounts. Such interest being deemed to accrue on a day to day basis
from the due date for payment under clause 11.

Penalty
clauses on purchase orders or other documents involved cannot be accepted by
Axiomatic Technology Ltd. unless a specific undertaking has been given in writing by the
Company.

Ownership of
goods supplied remains with Axiomatic Technology Ltd. until full payment has been received.
The Company reserves the right to repossess any goods to which it has title.
